Margaret Gunthorpe (née Christian)

The legatees of Margaret Gunthorpe counterclaimed unsuccessfully for compensation for ownership of enslaved people on Gunthorpe's estate in Antigua. Margaret Gunthorpe was the mother of James Gunthorpe (q.v.) and probably also the mother of Rev. William Gunthorpe (also q.v.). She was the widow of William Gunthorpe of Antigua who died c. 1807.
