Biography

East India official, Chairman of the Hon East India Co. 1844-1847. Although Vere Langford Oliver is silent on the existence of Henry in his 'Pedigree of Willock', Henry Willock was identified as heir at law of Francis Willock, and brother of Frank Gore Willock (and hence grandson of the slave-trader and merchant Alexander Willock) in the compensation records. Party to and probably beneficiary with other family members of a settlement with George Savage Martin for a series of estates on Antigua and Montserrat.

T71/1261 includes the indenture dated 3/10/1836 between Sir Henry Willock of Little Campden House Kensington and George Savage Martin of Antigua.
