Thomas Shekell, co-owner of Mountain Spring estate in Westmoreland Jamaica by virtue of his wife Hannah, daughter of James Hilton or Hylton.

  1. Thomas Shekell, son of Thomas Shekell of Pebworth and Elizabeth Steevens, born at Little Comberton Worcestershire, 10/11/1780. Lord of the Manors of Pebworth and Little Comberton. JP for Worcestershire. Married Hannah (1788-1865) daughter of James Hilton of Tarvin, Co. Chester. The 1841 census shows Thomas aged 55, Hannah aged 50, William aged 25, Charlotte 20 and Mary 20 all living at Pebworth. Will of Thomas Shekell of Pebworth proved 11/08/1852.
