Welbore Ellis

London stockbroker and trustee on an award in Jamaica. Uncle of Welbore Ellis of Lyncombe, Thicket Road, Anerley Surrey, son of Richard Rogers Ellis and Charlotte Mary (nee Heyman). It was this latter Welbore Ellis who acted as executor granted probate for the will of Charlotte Mary Ellis widow in November 1872; and who was also probably the Welbore Ellis late of 11 Royal Parade Cheltenham who died 09/02/1876.

1. Welbore Ellis late of The Albany, Piccadilly, died 16/03/1871; partner in Ellis & Co., stockbrokers of 53 Threadneedle St., London. In the early 1850s he was a director of Asylum Life Assurance Co. stepping down in 1855.
