Biography

One of the beneficiaries of a trust for the Gascoyne family, to the trustees of which was paid 3/4 of the compensation for the Seven Plantations estate in Clarendon Jamaica, and sister of Sarah Burt nee Gascoyne (q.v.).

  1. In 1851 Mary Gascoyne aged 83 Independent born Norfolk Street London was living at Montpelier Row in Twickenham with 3 servants. Will of Mary Gascoyne spinster of Twickenham [made 1853] proved 23/2/1855. Her primary heir was her nephew Rev. Robert Gascoyne Burt. Her property included her interest in the Seven Plantations estate.
