Resident slave-owner in Jamaica.

  1. William Henry, son of Sarah Twist by James Bicknall, born 13/04/1783 and baptised in Kingston, 26/06/1783.

  2. James Bicknell of Kingston, merchant, married Margaret Powell Brooks of St Catherine, widow, by licence in St Catherine, 26/01/1788. Their son James William was baptised in Kingston in 1788 and another son, Henry Powell, in Kingston in 1791.

  3. James Bicknell was buried at Harkers Hall, St Thomas-in-the-Vale, 21/04/1836 age 78.
