Biography

Resident slave-owner in Jamaica. 'Factor and lawyer' for the absentee James Graham Clarke (q.v.), and counterclaimant on St James No. 10 as 'only surviving executor of Jacob Graham'. No death-date or probate has been found for him to date: a John Whittingham appeared in the 1857 Jamaica Almanac as a magistrate in Westmoreland, as did a Joseph Whittingham.
