Mary Gilpin widow of No. 11 Westbourn Place [London], whose will [made in 1848] was proved 24/11/1855. In that will, Mary Gilpin left her property of Cascade in Hanover in trust (her trustees were William Edward Gilpin of No. 28 Westbourne Place and William Gilpin of East Sheen) to be sold and the proceeds together with her personalty divided between her daughters Mary James Gilpin and Laura Gilpin for life or until their marriage, and then to be divided between William Edward Gilpin, Bernard Gilpin, and Sarah wife of William Turnbull Renwick [?]. The Rev. Bernard Gilpin was the Vicar of Aldbrough in Yorkshire until his death c. 1852.
