Biography

Awarded part of the compensation for the enslaved people on Samuel Harman's estate on Antigua with Major Edmund Yeamans Walcott as trustees of the marriage settlement of Samuel Clogstoun and Caroline Walcot[t], his sister-in-law.  

  1. George Lodowick Wilder had married Augusta, daughter of Edmund Walcot of Winkton. In 1841, George Wilder aged 55 'Col[onial] Off[ice] was living at Sussex Place with Edmund Wilder aged 20 and Augusta aged 40. George L. Wilder of  Sussex Place, Regent's Park, third son of late Rev. Dr Wilder of  Purley-place Berks, died in May 1844.
