Rev. Horace George Cholmondeley

Claimed apparently unsuccessfully for an annuity of £100 p.a. left to his wife under the will of her father Godschall Johnson I (q.v.).

1. Son of George James Cholmondeley, Receiver-General of Exercise (1752-1830) and Marcia Pitt, daughter of John Pitt of Encombe and sister of William Morton Pitt MP of Kingston House. G.J. Cholmondeley's third wife Mary Elizabeth (née Townshend) subsequently m. 2nd Earl of Romney. William Morton Pitt had joined the London Committee of SEAST as one of 4 new members Dec. 1787 - Jan. 1788. G.J. Cholmondeley left £180,000 in personalty at his death.

2. H.G. Cholmondeley m. 31 August 1825 Mary Elizabeth, daughter of Godschall Johnson I (d. 18 April 1837). Curate Stokenham Devon 1820.

3. H.G. Cholmondely leased No. 10 Park Village West (designed by 'the office of John Nash' c. 1834-7).
