Awarded a part-share in the compensation for ownership of enslaved persons on Virgin Valley estate in Clarendon, Jamaica, as one of the representatives of Charles Gordon Gray (q.v.). Given as J.R.A. Gray but almost certainly John Robert A'Court Gray, surviving son of Charles Gordon Gray.
