His second son Charles William Rowe matriculated at Lincoln's College, Oxford, on 07/06/1845 age 18 and became incumbent of Bundawa [Bundarra?], New South Wales; he died 11/12/1859.

The Buff Bay plantation was a sugar estate next to the Buff Bay River, south of Charlestown in Jamaica. By 1839, the estate was 840 acres.
