'Founded' 1767: started as Parnther & Druce at London Street 1783. The firm can be traced from Robert Parnther in Bartlet Buildings in the London Gazette.
1791 - 1862
Free woman of colour; left Demerara in 1812 as a young woman and settled in Starthforth, Yorkshire, where she died in 1862.

The Buff Bay plantation was a sugar estate next to the Buff Bay River, south of Charlestown in Jamaica. By 1839, the estate was 840 acres.
