Notes

Burrell, Neave and Matthews purchased acquired 15 enslaved people in Vere between 1823 and 1826. The almanac for 1827 gave their estate a name - Trinity - so presumably they had also bought land in Vere. Between 1826 and 1829 they increased their slaveholding to 50 people. By 1832 George Pratt Burrell had become sole owner.

The ownership of the land before 1826, presumably under a different name, is unknown.
