What is this?

1810
[Name] Rockley Vale

In 1810, a notice appeared from a suit in Chancery on Tobago between Elizabeth Buchanan by her next friend William Bransnell [sic] versus George Cumine, trustee of A. Buchanan deceased, rehearsing the agreement in the suit to have the arrears of Elizabeth Buchanan's annuity settled on her by her late husband paid up, and to have the purchase money from various purchasers of Rockley Vale collected to secure her future annuity. The notice was posted to allow M'Kenzie and Patterson, creditors with a judgment against Buchanan, the chance to become aware of the settlement. London Gazette 16411 6 October 1810 p. 1589.
