The enslaved people on this estate were owned by Sarah Fayle but after her death were owned jointly by her widower Henry Fayle, Allen Hilton and John Preston Hilton. Henry Fayle was awarded compensation separately for a portion of the enslaved people who were recorded as resident on Gomers Hall in the compensation records. See JA2713.
