William Alers Hankey was one of the two dozen members of the Committee of the Protestant Dissenters Academy at Mill Hill in 1821 (alongside Ebenezer Maitland), Statement of the design and plan of the Protestant Dissenters' Grammar School at Mill Hill (1821).
