West India merchant - British Guiana (Colonial - Caribbean)
Apparently a manifestation of Robert Bogle and Co., shown as owners of several estates in British Guiana at the time of compensation with David King among the partners.

Daughter of a wealthy planter and wife of the rector of St Elizabeth, Jamaica. Bigamous convicted forger.

The Buff Bay plantation was a sugar estate next to the Buff Bay River, south of Charlestown in Jamaica. By 1839, the estate was 840 acres.
