Identified as mortgagees of Hopewell estate in Jamaica in 1777 in the Chancery case of White v Parnther . The firm went through several iterations of partnership at its St Mary Hill address between c. 1794 and 1827. It appears that Farrer and Roebuck's partnership was separate from Roebucks, Stowe & Kay, although the partners overlapped and the firms shared an address.
