  1. Partnership between David Charles Guthrie, George Clerke Cheape and Samuel Prentice as Lewen, Cheap [sic] & Co., dissolved by mutual consent 4/8/1842.

  2. Partnership between George Clerke Cheape, James Alexander Guthrie and Arbuthnot Charles Guthrie under the firm of Chalmers, Guthrie & Co., at 9 Idol Lane, dissolved by mutual consent so far as regards George Clerke Cheape 31/12/1859.  

  3. Partnership comprised C.S.S. Guthrie (Oakfield, Dartford, Kent); M. Ulcoq (22 Pembridge Gardens); W.M. Guthrie (Stratford House, Stratford Place) and W. M. Low (Wellesbourne House, Warwick) 1898, each described as 'Merchant and Banker',  offices at 9 Idol Lane, Guatemala City and Bogota.

  4. Meeting of creditors under Companies (Consolidations) Act 1927; Members' voluntary liquidation 2/1934; and petition for winding-up presented 30/6/1934.

  5. Chalmers Guthrie & Co. Ltd struck off the Companies House register and so dissolved May 1938.
