Declaration by Richard Deane that John Martin Morris, the deceased claimant, left two executors (William Marshall Morris and James Thomas Rogers) and that he, Richard Deane, holds a Power from them to receive the money.

Enslaved boy on Unity Valley Pen, Jamaica. Manumitted in 1795 by David Barclay and removed to Philadelphia, with 29 other freed persons from the estate, where he was placed under the care of Society for Improving the Condition of Free Blacks.

A cover note outlining the contents of the document.
