T71/860: note, dated 29/12/1835, stating: 'Withdrawal of the first counterclaim by Herbert Jarrett James conditionally on Messrs Hawthorne and Shedden receiving £900 from a Mr Morrice the agent of the claimant'.

T71/1606: letter, dated 18/02/1836, from R. Hawthorn, asking for confirmation of the withdrawal of Herbert Jarrett James's counterclaims, which had not yet been done.
