T71/860: claim by Geo. Atkinson and Henry Forbes, as receivers of the estate of Charles Forbes in the cause of Adams et al. versus Forbes.
The suit of Forbes v Adams in 1839 gives the background of Charles Forbes and his wife Mary mortgaging two estates in 1818 to 'Adams, Robertson, Greenfield and Atkinson.' Previously the estates were part of the marriage settlement of Charles Forbes and Mary Clutterbuck August 1800.
