Parliamentary Papers p. 289.

Extraordinary claim, divided amongst heirs [nephews and nieces and their children of such] of William White into 58 shares of which 56 are accounted for in the Parliamentary Papers, among 34 line entries. Each 'share' was £25 1s 3d. The will of William White of Woodstock in the parish of St Ann and Island aforesaid [Jamaica] planter, was proved 10/10/1804, PROB 11/1416/204. The will specfies manumission of, and legacies to, a small number of enslaved people, with the residual estate 'divided among all my nephews and nieces and the children of such of my nephews and nieces as shall be living at the time of my decease.' None was named.

Two 'shares' (£50 2s 6d) to Catharine Claybrook; James White Higgins; James White Sawtell; Angus Kennedy, Mary Anna Kennedy, Anna Blydesteyn & Arend Jacob Guitard; Elizabeth Frances Ireland; William White; Thomas White.

Three 'shares' (£75 3s 9d) to William Hadgley.

Four 'shares' (£100 5s) to James Whitehead Pittman.

Five 'shares' (£125 6s 3d) to Elizabeth Dolge.

Seven 'shares' (£175 8s 9d) to Hannah King.

T71/857 identifies them as Great Britain and as heirs of William White.
