If you want to study an LLM with a specialism, you should apply to the relevant LLM specialism route. If you are unsure at this stage whether you want to specialise or would like to study a general LLM, then you should apply to the general LLM route.
Please note that specialisms offered on the LLM programme vary from year to year. The list below is the confirmed specialisms for 2022/23.
We plan to publish module descriptions on the website in spring 2022. Modules are subject to cancellation and module convenors may change.
Specialisms 2022/23
If you wish to obtain an LLM specialist degree you must select a minimum of 60 credits from the qualifying modules listed in that specialism (to be confirmed), plus write your Research Essay in the area of the specialism.
