Youth Justice Legal Centre Volunteer Opportunity

The Youth Justice Legal Centre is an exciting and ambitious project founded by the charity Just for Kids Law

Breadcrumb trail

The Youth Justice Legal Centre is a centre of excellence and was founded to get recognition that children deserve specialist legal representation. If you are looking to be a children’s rights specialist then this is a fantastic opportunity.

They are seeking a volunteer to work one or two days a week to help undertake legal research for a legal handbook on youth justice law.  You will be part of a ground breaking project that will coincide with mandatory registration for all barristers representing children in Criminal Cases and you will also be part of creating the Youth Justice Summit 2018 next May. This is a great opportunity for law students seeking to specialise in children’s rights who also have an interest in youth justice.

They are looking for a volunteer who is available ideally at least 1 day per week, possibly with the flexibility to work 2 days per week or split their time over two or more days. They are able to reimburse your travel expenses. They anticipate a high calibre of applicant. If you are interested please send your CV and an indication of your availability to KateAubrey-Johnson@justforkidslaw.org.

Deadline: 30 October, 5pm.
