Abstract

The relationship between standards and intellectual property has always been complex, though it is an existential matter both for standards and for patents. This booklet, published by The European Intellectual Property Teachers’ Network and 4iP Council, aims at clarifying concepts and current practice on standards and IP. It is of use for academics and students in all disciplines (particularly law, economics and STEM), as well as for those in relevant business circles.
