Dr Thea Gibbs

Director of Operations

Thea leads on all professional services matters and is responsible for overall planning, support and resourcing of professional services within the Faculty. She works closely with the Dean as a member of the Dean’s Team on developing and implementing the Faculty strategy, and on ensuring alignment with UCL’s strategy and priorities.

Thea has 18 years’ experience in the Higher Education sector, in strategic and operational management roles in both central service and academic settings. Prior to developing her career in university administration, Thea worked in the commercial sector. With a professional background in information management, she worked as a law librarian in a City of London law firm and as a business researcher in a large venture capital firm.
