GCDC PhD student member Edward Pérez presented at the panel event ‘The Inter-American Court of Human Rights Advisory Opinion on the Climate Emergency and Human Rights’, co-organised by the Centre for Climate Law and Governance and the Centre for International Governance and Dispute Resolution. The event was held at the Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London, to discuss the significance of the Court’s Advisory Opinion and its potential implications. During the event, Pérez provided ideas on assessing the impact and effectiveness of the Court’s Advisory Opinion, as well as the tools that the Court could develop to promote its implementation.
