UCL Laws alumna Firoza Dodhi wins WeAreTheCity Rising Star Award

Firoza was named as one of five winners for the Law (Lynne Freeman Award) category of the 2024 WeAreTheCity Rising Stars Award.

The Rising Star awards aims to showcase the UK pipeline of female talent below management across different industries and professions, including law. Now in their tenth year, the Rising Star Awards celebrates the next generation of future leaders who are making a significant impact in their field.

This year, the awards were entered by over 1300 individuals and were judged by a panel of over 40 independent judges.The winners were announced at an awards ceremony in London in July.

Firoza earned an LLB in 2017, before obtaining an LLM in 2018 from UCL Laws. Firoza then earned her MSc in 2019 from the LSE. She is currently an Associate in the Disputes & Investigations team at Simmons & Simmons LLP in London, and a member of the firm’s Investigations Cross-Border Group.
