Dr Wilde’s new article, ‘Using the Master’s Tools to Dismantle the Master’s House: International Law and Palestinian Liberation’ (available via Open Access) in the Palestine Yearbook of International Law is a critical treatment of how international law relates to the fundamental question of the liberation of the Palestinian people.

He will be presenting some of the ideas from it, concerning the Palestinian right to self-determination, at an international conference on Jerusalem at Al Quds University, in Abu Dis, Jerusalem, occupied Palestine, on Tuesday 24 May (Zoom link), with other speakers and participants drawn from Palestinian civil society, UN experts and the diplomatic community.

The following day, Wednesday 25 May, he will give a public lecture to academics and students at Birzeit University, near Ramallah, occupied Palestine, at 11am local time (9am in London), which will be live streamed on the University YouTube channel.

On Thursday 26 May at 6pm local time (4pm in London), Dr Wilde will deliver a public lecture at the British Academy Council for British Research in the Levant, of which Dr Wilde is a Fellow, in Sheikh Jarrah, Jerusalem, occupied Palestine, setting out the key ideas from his article (Zoom link).
