Listen now: Professor Maria Lee featured in podcasts on environmental law
14 July 2020
Professor Maria Lee is featured as a guest in two recent podcast episodes, which are available to listen to now.
Professor Maria Lee (Professor of Law at UCL Laws) gave the Public Interest Environmental Law keynote lecture, where she explored the need to continue to assess the processes around ‘good’ decision making, and to assert the values underpinning public involvement in environmental decision making.
Professor Lee also spoke at a Green Alliance event held online in June 2020, ‘Should the UK extend the transition period for the sake of the environment?’. The panellists discussed the current state of EU negotiations and what needs be done before the end of the transition period to ensure the UK’s environment remains protected. The event highlights are available to listen to now on the Green Alliance podcast.
