Dr John Sorabji elected to the Council of the International Association of Procedural Law

The IAPL is the international academic organisation that focuses on the academic scrutiny, comparative study, and exchange of ideas concerning civil procedural law.
Dr John Sorabji, Senior Teaching Fellow at UCL Laws, has recently been elected to the Council of the International Association of Procedural Law (IAPL).
Dr Sorabji is the only UK-based scholar appointed to the Council, is also the only non-Professor.
The main focus of the IAPL’s work is carried out through its programme of academic conferences and via its journal, called the International Journal of Procedural Law (IJPL). The journal provides an international research platform for scholars and practitioners in the field of procedural law, especially in civil matters.
