Professor Ronan McCrea (Professor of Constitutional and European Law at UCL Laws) has written an article for the Irish Times on the PM Boris Johnson’s latest Brexit agreement.
In ‘Johnson’s deal may yet fall foul of the European court’, Professor McCrea discusses the concerns amongst EU legal experts that the Northern Ireland elements of the Brexit agreement are illegal under EU law; and that a legal challenge is “almost inevitable”.
