UCL Public International Law Pro Bono Project featured in UCL Teaching & Learning case study

The project aims to bring together UCL Laws Masters students, PhD students and staff with human rights organisations to deliver cutting edge research.

The UCL Public International Law Pro Bono Project has been featured as a case study on the UCL Teaching & Learning website, which explores how the project developed the student learning experience.

The case study also reveals how the project uses a multi-layered feedback process to deliver cutting-edge research; and how it develops students’ skills and learning beyond the classroom.

Through the project, the students carry out legal research under the direction of UCL Laws academic staff and doctoral students, and provide analysis and advice to partner agencies in support of their human rights protection work. The UCL Public International Law Pro Bono Project was honoured with a Provost's Education Award in 2018 (pictured above) in recognition of its outstanding contribution to the learning experience and success of their students.
