2018-19 LLM students welcomed to UCL Laws

28 September 2018

Induction week marked the beginning of the academic year for new UCL Laws LLM students.

LLM induction week

LLM students from across the globe were welcomed to UCL Laws with a packed schedule of events and activities during induction week.

Students heard from various members of UCL Laws staff, who delivered lectures on ‘hot topics’ in the field of law – such as the global credit crisis; lawyers’ ethics; and nationalism and identity.

There were also sessions on study skills; social events; campus tours; and team-building exercises. One activity involved building towers from spaghetti, providing the new students with an opportunity to get to know one another better.

On Friday afternoon, students took part in a Treasure Hunt around the UCL campus. The winner will be announced at the Dean’s Welcome Reception next Wednesday.
