UCL’s Intellectual Property Moot Team to participate in Annual Oxford International Moot Competition

8 March 2018

UCL

We are very pleased to announce that UCL’s Intellectual Property moot team has been selected to participate in the oral rounds of the 16th Annual Oxford International Intellectual Property Law Moot Competition 2018.

The Oxford Moot is one of the most, if not the most, prestigious intellectual property law mooting competitions attracting applications from many distinguished law schools around the world. This year, 66 teams submitted written arguments (from which 28 were selected).

The UCL team is one of only seven representing the UK to make it through to the oral rounds. The team, Mengmeng Wang, Prateek Chakraverty and Caroline Gao, along with their coaches, Professor Sir Robin Jacob, Sir Hugh Laddie Chair of Intellectual Property Law at UCL Faculty of Laws, and Alexandra Mezulanik, UCL Research Assistant, will be attending the competition at the University of Oxford next week.

We wish them all the very best of luck.
