UCL Laws PhD student Linda Siegele gives seminar at University of the South Pacific

Linda Siegele, UCL Faculty of Laws PhD student, gave a side lecture on the Conference of the Parties (COP 23) at the University of the South Pacific on 23 August 2017.

During her time in Fiji, Linda also helped facilitate a climate change negotiating skills workshop for Pacific women negotiators.

Linda said:

‘Pacific leaders have listed a set of key priorities for outcomes not only at COP 23 but for the year ahead and certainly one of the priorities is to ensure that Pacific, Small Island Developing States (SIDS) have sufficient financing to address the impacts of climate change.’
