The 2014 Centre for Ethics and Law (CEL) Annual Lecture was given by Professor Lessig, known for his Non-Corruption Principle and advocacy of reduced legal restrictions on copyright.

The lecture, entitled The Place of ‘Institutions’ in the Idea of ‘Corruption’, explored the idea of “institutional corruption” and used it to understand pathologies in important public institutions, especially the United States Congress.
