Justin Lindeboom is Assistant Professor of European Law at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. He took degrees in Law and History and subsequently read for an LL.M. degree at University College London. He obtained a Ph.D. degree from the University of Groningen on autonomy, legality and pluralism in the EU legal order. He also has held visiting fellowships at New York University Law School (Global Emile Noël Fellow, 2019–2020), University College London, the Max Planck Centre of Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg, and the European University Institute in Florence. He writes on philosophy and theory of law, EU economic and constitutional law, and competition law. His research has been published among others in the Oxford Journal of Legal Studies, Modern Law Review, and the Yearbook of European Law.
