- Introduce the structure and distinctive features of the UCL LLM
- Outline the range of specialist pathways and optional modules
- Discuss skills development and career opportunities
- Answer your questions about applying, scholarships, and life at UCL Laws
About the UCL Master of Laws (LLM)
The UCL Master of Laws (LLM) is one of the most diverse and rigorous postgraduate law degrees in the world. You can choose from a wide selection of modules across areas such as International Law, Corporate Law, Human Rights, Environmental Law, and Public Law. You can take the general LLM to explore multiple fields or pursue one of 15 specialist degrees tailored to your interests.
The programme combines rigorous academic study through taught modules led by distinguished academics, practising lawyers, and barristers at the forefront of legal thought, alongside optional extracurricular opportunities such as mooting and pro bono work through our award-winning Centre for Access to Justice. You will also undertake in-depth research through an independent Research Essay, developing analytical and writing skills that will strengthen your academic and professional prospects.
