Doctors of the Dark Side - a film showing and discussion panel
UCL Institute for Human Rights is pleased to announce a film screening followed by a panel discussion of the film Doctors of the Dark Side
About this event
Doctors of the Dark Side is a documentary (directed by Martha Davis) which exposes how psychologists and physicians implemented and covered up the torture of detainees in US-controlled military prisons. The stories of four detainees and the doctors involved in their abuse show how essential doctors have been to the torture program, and how professional bodies for medicine and psychology responded to their members’ involvement in torture.
