The Public Law Seminar Series (PLSS) covers all aspects of public law, broadly defined.
The Public Law Seminar Series (PLSS) serves as a forum for scholarly dialogue on all aspects of public law, broadly defined. Designed as a space for scholars and practitioners to engage with critical public law issues, the PLSS fosters discussions that are relevant to both scholarship and real-world developments.
The seminars are structured around expert-led presentations, followed by remarks from commentators and question-and-answer sessions with participants. Through these seminars, we facilitate rigorous academic debate on theoretical and doctrinal questions in constitutional theory, comparative constitutional law, human rights, judicial review, and legal and political theory, among others.
The history of the PLSS can be traced back to 2017, when the Public Law Group at UCL established the Public Law Group Seminar Series. The Group has now been integrated into the GCDC, with its seminar series rebranded as the PLSS.
