The Academic Communication Centre (ACC) at CLIE and the Academic Writing Centre (AWC) are delighted to launch the new IOE Academic Writing Seminar Series.

Experts in the field from UCL and other higher education institutions will be invited to debate the practices and challenges faced by students and academics as writers, and the models and mechanisms of support for writing found within Higher Education in the UK and globally.

The seminar will take place on the last Thursday of the month and all are welcome.

The inaugural seminar will be on 28 January 2021 at 4.00pm by Professor Dominic Wyse and will be chaired by Professor Norbert Pachler, Pro-Vice-Provost (Digital Education), UCL. Dominic will reflect on some key ways to help university students with academic writing through a multidisciplinary perspective on writing processes.
