CELTA and DELTA

The UCL Centre for Languages & International Education (CLIE) offers Cambridge-accredited CELTA and DELTA courses for new and experienced English language teachers.

CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)

This course is for you if:

  • You’re interested in learning to teach English.
  • You wish to gain an initial teaching qualification that is recognised worldwide.
  • You have some previous English language teaching experience or none at all.

This course is for you if:

  • You’re interested in developing your English teaching.
  • You wish to gain an initial teaching qualification that is recognised worldwide.
  • You're a qualified and experienced English language teacher.
