Abstract:

Do you think your supervisor is too rigorous? Do you silently believe that the world is smooth and finite at the same time? Do you want to interchange limits and integrals without checking it makes sense? Then this talk is for you! We will ‘prove’ a beautiful theorem relating topology, geometry and functional analysis using methods only allowed in physics. We will get our hand dirty by actually calculating Clifford algebras and we will experimentally show that this theorem is true using particle decay.
