UCL BioResource launches recruitment video

28 September 2015

The UCL BioResource has launched a new video to show potential volunteers how signing up to the initiative can help research.

The video explains how people with and without diseases can donate DNA, plasma and serum samples for researchers to be able to easier identify individuals who may fit the criteria for a trial.

Clinicians speak on the video about the huge influence BioResource has on the fight against diseases such as dementia, diabetes and heart disease and how BioResource supports research into the link between genes, the environment, health and disease.

A BioResource volunteer also talks about her experience of donating to the UCL BioResource.
