Social media guidance for involvement in research

INVOLVE has released guidance for researchers who want to use social media (such as Twitter, blogs, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube etc.

) to actively involve patients or the public in health or social care research.

This guidance provides examples of the benefits, challenges, risks and ethics of using social media for involvement and some top tips. The guidance also includes a jargon buster for social media terminology.
