Angela Rippon to give lecture at CNMR conference

Angela Rippon OBE is to give the plenary lecture at the Centre for Nurse & Midwife led Research (CNMR) Research in Clinical Practice Conference 2014.

 

Angela is an award winning journalist and a campaigner for dementia awareness. She is the Alzheimer's Society Ambassador and co-chairs the Dementia Friendly Communities Champions Group which focuses on improving inclusion and quality of life for people living with dementia. 

Angela has also worked with the Royal College of Nursing on the launch of an initiative which offers practical guides which are intended to help nurses implement principles for improving dementia care. 

Booking for the conference is now open. It is open to UCLH and Royal Free nurses and midwives and is free to attend.
