NIHR HS&DR invites applications to researcher-led workstream

17 April 2012

The NIHR Health Services and Delivery Research (HS&DR) programme is now accepting applications to its researcher-led workstream.

Closing date for applications is 19 July 2012.

Under the researcher-led workstream, the HS&DR programme will fund research to improve the quality, effectiveness and accessibility of the NHS.

This includes both primary research and evidence syntheses, depending on the existing research and the most appropriate way of responding to important knowledge gaps. The aim is to fund research that will lead to improvements in health services that will be of greatest benefit to the NHS and to patients.

The HS&DR programme, which is a merger of the two former NIHR programmes the Health Services Research programme (HSR) and the Service Delivery and Organisation programme (SDO), aims to produce rigorous and relevant evidence on the quality, access and organisation of health services.

For more information and to access the application form and guidance go to the researcher-led workstream pages of the HS&DR website

The HS&DR programme has also launched a new quarterly bulletin giving news on funding opportunities and programmes. Subscribers to the HS&D mailing list receive the bulletin.
